Your effort is very much appreciated. I like MR. Natarajan's article very much, we can improve only by uniting the parted organizations. if the organization is not financially sound, it should make
awareness of the schemes and empowering measures provided by the govt.
a small suggestion , can you please add http://www.vishwakarmamahasabha.com/ too to the reference sites?
CR.Girijan Acharya (Saturday, 20 July 2013 12:27)
Dear friend Nidheesh
Actually I doesn't want to write such a comment on "Karmabhumi" because I loved and promoted such a wonderful publication from the time of its inception by giving ads and news through this website
vigorously. But only because of your comment appeared here I am forced to write a few words through this column. As stated earlier, I promoted the publication with a very warm heart but in return
they neither they promoted my website in any manner nor by giving any small attention through their columns and that is why I removed all the ads and news items regarding Karmabhumi recently
And it is notable that no any organizations like VSS, KVS or such till the moment did not promote me, instead I get individual phone calls from all over India especially from North India daily. You
can specially note that through this column only individuals write and react till now.
Really I work for my satisfaction and i am very happy now because every one love my website. I thank every body for giving me such warm appreciations...
Regards to all

This is really a good observation and opinion to be followed and implemented at the earliest. If possible unite all the three organizations together and become one and lead the whole viswakarmas of
Kerala in one name and try to be part of the all India organization.

Ashok kumar (Monday, 10 June 2013 16:33)
Before aryans invation there was only one community, it was silpi (sculpture cvilization).probably they used to creat every things fore their day by day usage. mainly the magnetic point was temples.
some people used to made selter roof by wood, some one made wall by stone, door locked by steel component, made idol for pray, some one made vessels. these all were required for temples as well as
houses.every one help each other and lived without fighting. so weaponse was not nessassery to creat for fight eachother and this was the negative point when aryans attacked on this community.when
aryans attack they migrate from indus valley to south side of the indian region. gradually they followed their craft.so they divided by five groups.
viswakarmas are the orginal brahmins because in order to construct a temple he has to be made every part of the temple including idol in his heart,so viswakarmas themself carrying as a temple.
be proud to be a viswakarma Brahmin

When will you guys stop fighting on caste and caste linkages and start
a) Thanking our stars for the fact that some of the greates sages/cosmology & nonology scientists once walked our country and had an opportunity to transfer their knowledge to us
b) try to revive those and spread those to the whole indian community & the world community - Doesnt the whole of veda say - "Seeing all as one is realising Brahman!"
prasanth viswanath (Saturday, 08 December 2012 06:56)
i have a different opinion about viswabrahmins iam from kottayam who still practice veda adhyanam and vedic culture as per my opinion in vedic period there was no caste called viswakarmas there was
only brahmins and viswakarma is one sect among them who follows brahma sampradayam or in other words in some point of time all brahmins were once called viswakarmas i can clear my point with
references if you need. most of the people in our community claims that they are viswabrahmins without knowing the meaning of it that is actually pity because they are asking salary without doing job
Dr. jessie Mercay (Monday, 03 December 2012 08:24)
I read the DNA report you posted and the comment attached. I have seen this DNA research elsewhere and wrote to the author but got no response. I read the comment by K. Navapat Achary. "To my
assessment of evolution of races, from the palaeolithic age to the pre-vedic ages, the five Viswakarman sects are a natural formation. It is sad that every caste in India is trying to find a
link to the Brahminic sect. Brahminism is only a off shoot fo the Viswakarma lineage, that is sinking into the history. "
In my research on origins of Brahmin caste it is generally agreed by scholars that they were originally fire tenders in ancient communities. They gathered wood etc. One day I asked my teacher, the
late great Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati what he knew about the origins of the Brahmins. He said that when he was a child sitting around the fire in the evening , the Sthaptis would tell stories. One
story had to do with Architect Mayan. Mayan traveled to northern Indian with his students and followers. he formed a village and performed yagyas. He was called Vishwakarma Brahmin because he had the
ability - through Ayadi to create energized forms of Brahmam. he needed some people to gather wood and feed the yagya fire and to keep the village clean so he hired some folks from another village
who were from afganisthan and Iran. These people memorized mayan's chants and knowledge. The knowledge was that of his text the Pranava Veda and Aintiram. They did not fully understand the knowledge
and they also reinacted the yajna. Sthapati went on to say that these people who were basically janitors took the knowledge and his chants back to their community. They also took the name vishwakarma
brahmin but dropped the vishwakarma part and called their selves brahmins. Veda Vyasa then took their memorized chants and compiled them into what we know as the Veda. Vyasa gave credit to the
Pranava Veda in his Bhagavadtam. I have done a great deal of research on Mayan the architect and all roads lead back to this story my guru Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati told me. So I am in full agreement
with Mr. K. Navapat Acharya. It is not the vishwakarma brahmins who are trying to be something they are not - it is the brahmins who are trying to be something they are not.
Sthapati holds that mayan the Architect is the same personage referred to as Vishwakarma.
Incidently, I find that the Veda are filled with teachings of architect Mayan. Once one understands what might be called Mayonic Science, one then can truly understand the Veda.

There are small scale industrialists commencing small scale wood industries in Kerala irrespective of caste...
The Govt. has strictly ordered to produce the No Objection Certificate(NOC) from the concerned Forest Division Office to get License from the Local Body to start such an industry. Also, they have to
pay an Amount of Rs.10000/- as fee to get the NOC. This act is apprecieble in the case of financially sound NON-VISWAKARMA industrialists. But imposing such stringent restrictions in the case of
mostly poor Actual "CARPENTERS BY BIRTH" is really CRUEL... This must be brought to the attention of our Ministry and strict follow up is required urgently.... I invite the attention of our members
in this regard...

Your Sculptor or Diva Brahmin Community is undoubtedly a great community in India that had constructed great temples and great statues. Every one had gone but the temples, statues that were created
by Sculptor Brahmins/Daiva Brahmins remained remained till today. That is your greatness. You have shown to the world the spiritualism and through the statues the 'God'. My Pranams to the Great
Sculptor Brahmins of India.

It is really a very useful platform to exchange views and to focus ourselves on various aspects which we generally do not keep in our mind as all of us are very busy in floating and travelling in
I am of the considered opinion that every one of us should bear in mind the following points:
1.We should not be slaves to any bad habit
2.We should be open to discuss the actual facts whatever those may be without any hesitation and by accepting the facts only we can be realistic and find solutions at a very faster way
3.Every one of us should excel in the circle in which we are playing
4.We should keep in mind that we are from a great community and we should not forget the sacrifices made by our ancestors in the past
5.We should remember that our fore-fathers always followed the principle of working hard physically besides thinking apt spiritually
6.We should always have krishna chaitanya to excel ourselves in our respective fields and at the same time travel into antarmukha nissabda to judge as to what extent we stand for our hindu

Sir, I am from Ernakulam, My husband Unnikrishnan is working as a Sub Inspector in CRPF. We r now residing at Chandigarh. By getting more information about our community from internet, i would like
to participate in upgrading our community, bse here in North India viswakarma is a socially upward caste.. Only in Kerala there is a confusion. As yagnjopavdeedham is our birth right,my suggestion is
that we should wear it compulsory, and that will help a lot to upgrade it. Sir,its a pleasure to know that some of our kerala viswakarmas like u are working hard to upgrade our community. thank u

It was very heartening to see such knowledgeable information in ur writing about Vishwakarmans. But the most enthralling info was that Lord Shankaracharya was a Vishwakarman. He is the all pervasive
master in everyone's life who propounded the theory of AHAM BRAHMASMI. Special thanks exlusively for that.
I request one and all to keep enlightened & updated about our Guru - Lord Sri Vishwakarma and also about the religious rituals / practices pertinent to each of our vedas. Its also very important
to regularly follow these practices as well as teach them to our future generation. Each one's food practices and lifestyles may vary but the religious perspectives to everyone is the same, so i urge
all of you to kindly make it compulsory - Strict religious practices for ourselves and our nextgen.
I also appreciate the opinions of Mr.Navpat Achary.Good illustrations by him.
God bless u all. OM SRI VISHWAKARMA PARABRAHMANE NAMAHA

Dear Shri Girijan,
Heartiest congratulations for the site. I have a suggestion, please replace the photo of parabrahma with the 5 faced Sree Virad Viswabhrahma Devan. The single faced lord is the creation of Pidilite
Industries made for their advertisement to sell their tools and paints, brushes etc. Our community has not accepted the same. Other other community considering it as a shilpi only and trying to
reduce our value, culture and status in the society. Hope you will do the same. I also request all viswabrahmins members to worship and perform pooja to five faced virad viswabrahma, the creator of
the universe and all living things.

Dear Mr. Girijan,
I was extremely glad to go through your excellent work to promote our Viswakarma/Vishwabrahmin Community which is extinguishing now-a-days.
I was born and brought up in Kerala in a village called Perumpillissery, in Thrissur District and settled in Mumbai for more than 40 years. The village of Perumpillissery is consists of nearly 100
families of Goldsmiths of one Tharavadu.
About ten years ago, in the central part of Perumpillissery village, our people had constructed one
vishwakarma Temple and a Community Hall which is run by the families in good spirits. Poojas and Festivals are celebrated.
I hereby request your goodselves to visit the temple and bring out more information.
I trust that you would further bring out more articles and information about Vishwabrahmins/ Vishwakarma Community.
With Best Wishes,
Perumpillissery R. Mohanan

Navpat K Achary (Monday, 07 November 2011 02:55)
I am writing this with reference to the 'attached' write-up on Gene Expression of Viswakarmas'.
To my assessment of evolution of races, from the palaeolithic age to the pre-vedic ages, the five Viswakarman sects are a natural formation. It is sad that every caste in India is trying to find a
link to the Brahminic sect. Brahminism is only a off shoot fo the Viswakarma lineage, that is sinking into the history. It is synonymous with the degradation of Arsha Bharatha Samskaram. The glitter
and glamour is now being nourished by the Brahminic sect and hence there will be an inclination to link with that.
It could be noticed from the DNA evaluation of the sect 'Keralite Muslim Rawther' - there is a swing of the K factor towards the Tamil Viswakarmans. The Christians and Muslims of the olden days of
Kerala (about 800 years) are none other than Viswakarmanns who were attracted to the new religions because of the religious rigidity in the Viswakarman sect and the permissiveness on the other side.
Further DNA analysis will substantiate this. The conversion is still happening outside Kerala and it seems our community is on the verge of extinction.

Dear Mr Girijan CR,
Pranam! Hearty congratulation on the occasion of launch of your blogspot on Viswakarmas. May the cosmic conroller's blessings be with you for taking his message forward. Hope the objective of your
venture is resurrection of the community. If that be so, please propagate the message to our community members to assume a forward looking attitude, as the Harappan or Mohanjodaro past is not going
to boost the morale of the community these days. I would be grateful, if you could give wide publicity for the five point agenda mentioned hereunder.
(The following is a paragraph from the book of ‘SWAMI NIRMALANANDA HIS LIFE AND TEACHINGS’.
‘But the Swami's love for and sympathy with the lower classes was not the sentimentalism or love for the so-called reformers. He did not pander to their vanity, nor did he tolerate their weakness.
Once a traditional Indian architect-cum-civil engineer (the present day Carpenter /Stone Smith), representing his class asked Swamiji why they, the descendants of Viswakarma, were now treated as low
class people. The Swami replied: One of the monkeys asked such a question. “We are the descendants of the Great Hanuman, the hero of many exploits, the servant of Rama, the terror of Rakshasas. He is
worshipped by men. But we are slighted and ill-treated by them. Why is it so?” They were told: "Be Hanumans yourselves and you too will be worshipped. Mere vaunting of the greatness of one's
ancestors will not make you great. Acquire that quality which made Viswakarma great. Then you will rise in the estimation of all”.’
To save the community and to lead it to a progressive future, each member of our community must discuss the following five point agenda. Implement it within self, then to the family and then to the
(a) Teach the community to say no to alcohol, tobacco products and drugs and practice that as well.
(b) Teach them to abandon meat, fish and eggs. The community should propagate vegetarianism.
(c) Create awareness on educating children to the maximum extent at any cost.
(d) Follow religious rites and observe ancestral rituals. Learn Sanskrit. Speak good language. Conduct with a developed personality in public.
(e) Industrialise and commercialise the ancestral professions to make wealth – because it is the sharpest weapon on earth.
At first sight, the first two items will sound foolish and impracticable. A thinker will understand the impact of that in our community. By implementing the first programme, the members of our
community will refine to think forward. By implementing the second programme, the community will regain its social status. With these two tools, it will be easy to implement the other three
programmes that will take us forward.
A systematic re-organisation of our Community is necessary to refine ourselves. Hopefully, the younger generation will realise this and take up the idea of the above five agenda points to reform our
community for a resurrection. Without implementing the above agenda, any effort made for uplifting the community will be a waste of time and effort.
